All data sets generated by the Ensembl project are freely available to download from the ftp.ensembl.org site. See the Ensembl download page.

Creating links to GermOnline

Cross-references to GermOnline genes should have the format:

http://www.germonline.org/SPECIES/geneview?gene=GENENAME

Where SPECIES is the species full name with spaces replaced with underscores, and GENENAME is any identifier for the gene. Example:

http://www.germonline.org/Saccharomyces_cerevisiae/geneview?gene=YHL022C
